Why we can no longer ship to Your EU country
Since 12 August 2026, EU Regulation 2025/40 on packaging (PPWR) requires us to register, pay annual fees and hire a paid legal representative in every single EU country we ship to – starting from the very first parcel, with no exemption for small businesses.
Compliance costs €300–1,100 per country per year. Shipping legally to all 27 EU countries would cost a micro e-shop like ours roughly €8,000–10,000 a year – before sending a single package. One Dutch webshop calculated that a €50 order would need €200 in fees on top.
We did not make this decision. The European Commission and EU institutions did – by writing rules that treat a small family e-shop the same as an industrial corporation. Until a small-business exemption exists, we have no choice but to ship within Czechia only.
